Confirmation of account data according to Article 22(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1122, respectively Article 25(1) of Regulation (EU) 389/2013 for the year 2024
Article 22(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/1122 as likewise Article 25(1) of Regulation (EU) 389/2013 state:
“All account holders shall notify the national administrator within 10 working days of changes to the account information. In addition, account holders shall confirm to the national administrator by 31 December each year that the information for their account remains complete, up-to-date, accurate and true.”
In 2024, the Austrian Emissions Trading Registry will accept confirmations received between 1 October and 31 December 2024. The confirmation has to be duly signed by the account holder and shall be sent to the Austrian Emissions Trading Registry by post not later than 31 December 2024.
If a qualified electronic signature is used to sign the Annual Confirmation document (in accordance Regulation (EU) No 910/2014), please send us the electronically signed document by email.
Please note that a missing confirmation may lead to the suspension of an account.
