Access
Please use the following link to access the Login to the Austrian part of the Union Registry:
The access to the Union Registry is secured by email address, password and a QR-Code, which has to be scanned with a compatible mobile device (smartphone or tablet). After the scan of the QR-Code, an automatically generated 8-digit code has to be entered. If the authentication method 'Mobile phone + SMS' is still used for access, the access is secured by email address, password and a TAN code, which is sent to the mobile phone via SMS (2-factor authentication). Depending on the authentication method used, each authorised representative needs a compatible mobile device (smartphone or tablet) or a mobile phone number must be stored in the EU login account to access the Union Registry. Please note the authentication method ‘Mobile phone + SMS’ is only available until 7 January 2022. Therefore, a switch to the new authentication method EU Login Mobile App with QR code is necessary.
Users may access the Union Registry via EU Login, which is the authentication service of the European Commission. All registry users need to set up an EU Login account before they can access the Union Registry. EU Login uses the e-mail address to authenticate the users. Users may choose their password when setting up an EU Login account.
Clicking the padlock icon in the address bar on your browser displays information about the website to which you are connected. Check whether it really is the website of the Union Registry "unionregistry.ec.europa.eu". Here you can also view information about the allowance that is used.
If you click on "login" you are redirected to the EU Login website. Before you enter any data on the EU Login website, in particular your e-mail address and password, check whether you are really connected to the EU Login website of the European Commission "webgate.ec.europa.eu". If you click on "view the certificate" you can view all details of the certificate used.
In the Union Registry your EU Login account has to be linked to the so-called URID (Unique Registry Identifier of each user in the Union Registry). If a user is nominated for the first time as account representative in the part of the Union Registry of a specific Member State the registry administration of the respective Member State will check the identity of the user. When the administration has approved the user as account representative it sends the user an enrolment key via postal mail. The user has to enter this enrolment key in the Union Registry in order to fully activate the access to the registry.
To update your e-mail address, your mobile device or your mobile phone number in your EU Login account, use the following link, click on the gear icon next to your name to select “My Account” and then select „Modify my personal data“, “Manage my mobile devices” or „Manage my mobile phone numbers“:
